Coten End Primary School

wb. 27 November 2023

Year One had a very special visitor this week, the guide dog Deedee. She came into school with her owner to help us understand how we should care for pets. This was a part of our Science work on animals. Deedee's owner also explained how important guide dogs are for people with visual impairments. It was super to have such a beautiful labradoodle in our classrooms.

In our Maths this week we were thinking about the value of teen numbers. We focused on joining sentences in English with the word 'and' in order to make our writing more interesting. Bullying was our topic in PSHE. We talked to the children about what bullying is and how to deal with it.

Have a happy weekend.
