Welcome back everyone! Our final topic is ‘Get Set Grow’ and the children have already been busy creating their topic book front covers and learning all about Jack and the Beanstalk. In English, the children have drawn story maps and have also written detailed and thoughtful character descriptions of Jack. 
In Maths we have been introducing the children to time using analogue clocks. They have impressed us with their knowledge of o’clock and are now working hard to understand half past the hour.

For Music, we are all learning to sing and perform a song, ‘Things that Grow.’ Mrs Whitehall has uploaded it to Google Classroom so you can practise at home. It is very catchy and I am sure you will all be singing it soon!
