Another busy week in Year 3 has included a 'Rocksteady' assembly (in which the children were treated to a 40 minute rock band concert) and a virtual British Sign Language workshop with Fletch, who has worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran!

We are really enjoying reading The Firework Maker's Daughter and finding out about Lila's quest to Mount Merapi to find the Royal Sulphur. The children wrote some brilliant letters in character as Lila to demonstrate their summarising skills, updating her father on her quest (see photos). 

The children also did some beautiful elephant sketches in our first art lesson, which focused on simple line drawings.
