Coten End Primary School
Week commencing 13.11.23
Our busy half-term continued this week as Year 4 into the festive spirit by visiting the RSC. We went to see the production of 'The Box of Delights'. The performance was outstanding, and the children loved it. We were incredibly proud of the behaviour shown by all of them, and even a number of the audience commented on how sensible Coten End children were. Well done all of you! Back in school, we had a visit from Rocksteady, who performed an assembly for each phase. We rocked (no pun intended) into a new week! It was also Anti-bullying week in school, and a number of the children and staff marked the occasion by wearing odd socks; in our PSHE lessons we completed several activities linked to anti-bullying. We have been continuing to practise our singing ahead of our Xmas Tree Festival performance on 28th November - the children are becoming more confident with the words, as well as the makaton actions for 'Sing Up, It's Christmas'.
