This week, Year 2 have been busy exploring different grammar skills to use within their writing. They have practised, used and applied homophones and suffixes to sentences and even a short narrative - very impressive!

In maths, we have been using pictorial methods to begin multiplying and dividing. The children have been absolutely excellent at this and are ready to challenge themselves more within multiplication and division next week.

The children have also been learning about different physical features in geography, such as rivers, mountains and lakes, learning to use a map and key, and learning different compass points! Another great week!
