Year 5 are...design technologists.

This week Year 5 have been busy sewing banners for Hogwarts. They have designed their own banner for the house they most identify with. They have cut their own fabric after making templates, used a range of different stitches and produced some beautifully designed products. Each one unique and different. 

Year 5 are...writers. 

This week year 5 have been putting all their story telling skills into practice by creating their own Harry Potter story. All of the teachers have been amazed by their attention to detail, creative use of vocabulary and their imaginations. 

Year 5 are...Santas???

We have also taken part in the national Santa dash. Running 4 laps of the lower school playground dressed in Christmas regalia.
