The countdown for Christmas is officially on!

This week we have been rehearsing ready for our Christmas Performances next week. Our songs have really got us in the Christmas spirit and we are so looking forward to welcoming you all to come and watch.

As well as this, we have also managed to start a new unit in Maths. We started looking at money, counting up pounds and pence (our skip counting really came in handy for this!).

In English, we pretended to be Robert Catesby (the leader of the Gunpowder Plot) and wrote a letter to Guy Fawkes asking him to join the conspiracy. We had to remember to use 4 different sentence types, statements, questions, exclamations and commands and use the correct punctuation for all.

On Friday we felt even more Christmassy when we took part in the Santa Dash! Each year group ran 2 laps of the playground, all dressed in our festive gear!

The next 2 weeks will be jammed packed with more Christmas fun!
