Year 5 came to visit their partner classes in Reception to collaborate on an evaluation of their DT projects,  testing out their models in the reception outdoor area. The reception children demonstrated our school value of curiosity as they questioned their buddies about their designs.  As part of their Space topic, Year 5 and Reception were treated to a presentation by Wonderdome Planetariums. This was a unique opportunity to bring their learning to life and see how the stars and planets look up in the night sky. All of the children were expertly guided on a journey through the Solar System by our visiting speaker - Chris - and marvelled at the wonders of the universe as they appeared above their heads.  Of course, as usual in Reception, the children were also busy with their usual timetables of Phonics, Maths, Paired Reading, PE, Learning Theme as well as lots of time  playing and exploring during Continuous Provision time.
