This week the children have been reading the Smeds and the Smoos by Julia Donaldson and talking about their own families and how they are all different.  They have also been practising recognising rhyming wordsand making 'Silly Soup'. Each class also had a PE lesson, where they got changed for PE and did an obstacle course, set up in the school hall.  The children have continued to learn how to be a good friend and how to practise kindness, through kind words and kind actions, such as inviting other children to play with them.
