Coten End Primary School
Week Beginning 25th September 2023
It's been another busy week in Year 3. 3BB enjoyed a day at Cross Hands Quarry on Friday and, like 3FC, made lots of exciting prehistoric discoveries!
On Friday afternoon, it was 3FC's turn to take part in an engaging Science session run by Richard Etheridge from Warwick School. Along with his students, he taught the children to make rockets and we had great fun testing them out on the playground. We nearly lost some of them over the wall at the end of the field!
In English, the children have been recapping different sentence types and sentence demarcation and wrote some brilliant letters based on the 'Tyrannasaurus Drip' story. In Maths, we have continued developing our place value of numbers to 1000 and have done some times table practice too.
We are very excited about our Palaeontology theme day next Wednesday!
