Coten End Primary School
Week Beginning 16.10.23
It has been another very busy and fun-filled week in Reception. Today the children had a visit from Doctor Hannah and Doctor Liv who showed them a skeleton and taught them some names of internal organs like the small intestine and the liver. They also showed the children how germs can spread using sticky glitter. Most of the children also had a parent or relative in school to join them in one of our 'Come and Play' sessions. The children were very excited about showing their relatives around their indoor and outdoor classrooms. The children have been making repeating patterns in Maths and learning the graphemes g,o and c as well as the tricky word 'to'. Some children also went to Forest School with Mrs Pittock. Of course, there was lots of time to play with friends as well and make new relationships. The children were practising our school values of kindness, curiosity and being responsible this week. Have a lovely weekend, from The Reception Team and Children
