Coten End Primary School
Week Beginning 23.10.23
This week has only been four days, but the children have been very busy playing, exploring and creating. The children went on an autumn walk around the school grounds and collected lots of natural materials to use in the classroom. Some of the children made 'Autumn Crowns' and others used the natural materials to make art and patterns in maths. The children practised their fine motor skills, making playdough and pasta hedgehogs and threading. They learned some new graphemes and their first 'digraph' as well as the tricky word, 'the'. Finally, today the fire crew came to visit with their fire engine. We hope you have a very restful and enjoyable half term, from all the Reception Team
