Happy New Year to all our families. It's only been a 4 day week for the children, but despite this, the children have fit lots of fun learning in already.  Our new theme is 'Space Explorers' and the children have been busy exploring Outer Space in role-play and making aliens, rockets and astronauts.  We have recapped all our Phase 2 sounds and tricky words and are now ready to start on Phase 3. The children have enjoyed sharing the adventure of 'Beegu' in Drawing Club and talking about the story, using our focus vocabulary, 'lonely' and hopeful.'  The children have also begun our 'Challenge Mountain' challenges and learning about our focus value for this half term determination.
