In Science this half term, Year 3 have been looking into the different kinds of skeletons in the animal world. We have been exploring new vocabulary around this topic, such as exoskeletons, endoskeletons and hydrostatic skeletons. This week, Year 3 have been conducting an investigation into whether the length of the femur in a human skeleton has any impact on the distance that that human can jump. We worked collaboratively to ensure our measurements were accurate and our testing was fair.
