Coten End Primary School
Week Beginning 11th March
This week was Science Week! On Monday, we showcased our projects to KS2 and our parents. We felt so proud displaying our curiosity to those who visited us and we showed courage by speaking to new people. The next day we took part in a whole school investigation whereby we were Material Engineers on a mission to find a material to keep ice solid! We found out that the best insulator was plastic bubble wrap! We then got to go to see the KS2 Science Fair on Friday - we were very impressed with all their experiments.
In other news, we made our Gruffalo Crumbles in DT! We learnt how to use the Bridge Method to cut fruit safely and we enjoyed getting our hands messy to make the crumble topping. We hope you thought they were delicious.
Have a lovely weekend - one more week until Easter!
