Coten End Primary School
Week Beginning 11th March 2024
Today we did our whole school investigation for Science week. We predicted which material would keep the ice from melting. We chose bubble wrap, foil and a blanket. We also got to visit two classes from key stage two and see their science projects which was lots of fun.
Yesterday we had a special Science visitor, Dr Paula who is an engineer who uses electricity and showed us how static electricity is created.
This week our Drawing Club book in Reception was 'The Bumblebear' by Nadia Shireen and our new vocabulary was 'disguise, considerate and conceal.' In Maths we were practising number bonds up to 10 and arranging the numbers in different ways.
