This week Year 3 have taken their geography learning outside! We began by revisiting the 8 cardinal points of a compass, practising following and giving instructions using these directions. This meant using our collaboration skills to solve the clues together. Year 3 then got to put these skills to the test by playing directional games outside, as well as using compasses to find their way to specific points around the outside of school. The children had great fun working with and competing against each other!
