In Drawing Club this week, we have been reading the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and have drawn a map from our house to get to the bear's cave, as well as drawing and labelling the bear and his cave. We have been learning about different kinds of bears and their habitats.  In phonics, we have been practising reading and writing Phase 3 digraphs and trigraphs and tricky words. 

In Maths we have been learning about 3d shapes and thinking about whether they stack or roll as well as learning about repeating patterns. 

Our Jigsaw circle time this half term is all about Relationships and so far we have talked about what makes a family and how we can help ourselves and other children that feel lonely.

We have been practising throwing beanbags and javelins in PE, ready for Sports Day and of course spending lots of time playing with our friends in the Reception classrooms and garden.
