This week, Year 4 had a very exciting trip to London. Below is a recount of the day by Erin and Theo in 4SW:

Yesterday, on Thursday 6th June, we went to London to see Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Firstly, we went to the Tower of London and did a workshop and heard lots of stories about pirates. After that, we went to see the crown jewels and in ther we saw lots of different types of crown that have been won by Kings and Queens in the past. Our last experience at the Tower of London involved climbing 204 stairs to look at various old objects from the past including cannons and torture equipment for the prisoners. 

Next, we went to Tower Bridge and climbed up even more stairs to a viewing deck where part of the floor was transparent so you felt like you were floating above the river Thames.

The journey home was long but we had a brilliant day.
