We have had a wonderful day celebrating all the different languages and cultures in our school community. We were lucky enough to have lots of volunteers including children from the local secondary schools and parents. 

We spent the day paired up with another class in school and learnt languages including Greek, Portugeuse and Italian. We learnt a poem or song in our chosen language and performed this in front of half of the school!

We had the chance to learn words and phrases from our helpers and even got to try some traditional food. We played games with our partner classes including Kahoot and Duolingo. We also completed some pieces of individual artwork which will be combined to produce a school school project...

We really enjoyed dressing up in a variety of outfits to represent different cultures and languages. It was a wonderful day of celebrations.
