In Year 3 this week, we welcomed parents and carers into our classrooms to join us for a writing lesson.  The children took great pride in showing their families the work they have done so far this term and the excellent progress they have made.  They also enjoyed writing a description with a Stone Age theme.  We also had great fun making our model houses from the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age periods.  It was fantastic to hear the children using the vocabulary they have been learning in History lessons whilst doing this activity.  Finally, on Friday many of our Year 3 children took part in the Cake Off in celebration of European Languages Day.  Here are just a few of their amazing results.
