In our Science learning this week, we have started to explore habitats and the variety of life you might find there. Our Science lesson began by discussing what we know about habitats around the world already, before we focussed in on our local environment. We took the chance to explore some of our micro habitats around the school grounds to see what we could find. Even on a chilly January day, we saw squirrels, magpies, pigeons, spiders and snails. We also noted the variety in plant species on our school grounds.
