Coten End Primary School

WB 20.1.25

We have been lucky enough to have another visitor to Year 4 this week. This time, our visitor was from our local community. She came to speak to us about one of the local Gurdwaras in order to help support our understanding of special places in different religious worldviews.
We heard all about how the Gurdwara is open to all and how the members of the Gurdwara spend much of their time finding ways to help others who may be struggling or facing challenges. We also heard about some of the traditions and practices that you might see if you were to visit a Gurdwara, as well as seeing some images of Gurdwaras from around the rest of the world.

We have also had our second swimming lesson of the year so far and have been working really hard to develop the strength of our different swimming strokes.

We are looking forward to another busy week in Year 4 and hope to have some wonderful writing to share here on our blog soon!
