This week the children learned about Chinese New Year and how it is celebrated in Warwick and across the world. The children learned how to make a traditional Chinese stir fry, eating their creations using chopsticks. We ended the week with a Dragon Dance and celebration across the classrooms.  We read the story of 'The Great Race' linked to the Chinese Zodiac Animals as well as the Magic Paintbrush by Julia Donaldson.  The children practised writing and drawing Chinese symbols for letters and numbers and enjoyed making different Chinese inspired art and craft.
