This week's focus book was 'Tiddler'  by Julia Donaldson and the Reception children have been learning about Ocean habitats. Amongst other creatures, the children were excited to learn more about the octopuses. The Reception children were also excited to welcome some temporary visitors to our classrooms - we have frogspawn and during this week, tadpole have already begun to hatch!  In Maths, our focus has been doubling numbers, linked to part part whole. In PE the children have continued to develop their ball skills, throwing catching and aiming with control.
